What I Learned from Super Successful Attorneys

What I Learned from Super Successful Attorneys

This past 6 weeks, I’ve travelled to 3 different marketing conferences, and met some VERY interesting attorneys.

Why should you care?

Because the lawyers I’ve been meeting recently seem to be really, really good at one or more aspects of marketing their practice, and their bank accounts are showing it.

Here’s the cast of characters I’ve recently met and spoken to:

  • (Gets 80% of his clients from past client referrals) Jeff Witten, Esq. – Canadian Auto Accident PI Attorney
  • (96% in-office retention rate; 70% of clients from referrals) Dave Hiersekorn, Esq. – California elder law & estate planning attorney who has a 96% close rate for in-office appointments & also gets 70%+ of his clients from referrals. (CPAs are a big referral source for him)

Clicked thru from email? (Continue reading below)

  • (Gets 20+ leads a day. Earns $500k+ a year) Robert B., Esq. – Virginia DUI & reckless driving attorney. Solo practitioner making 500k+ a year, and he gets 20 leads a DAY, many of which are referrals.
  • (2-man firm, grown to 22+ attorneys) Seth Price, Esq. – built Price Benowitz from 2 lawyers (him and his partner) to 22 lawyers (last count), and still growing strong.

Common to all of these Super Attorneys is their focus on marketing, building authority, credibility, trust, and positioning with their potential clients.

Want a relatively easy way for you to take a big leap forward and start doing the same?

Write a book. Write 2 or 3 books, each one on a different area of law you practice, such as DUI, Juvenile Crimes, Car Accidents, Felonies, Bankruptcy, whatever they may be.

…but writing a book is a gargantuan task right?

Nope. Not anymore.

I’ve developed an extremely simple method of extracting a book out of an Attorney’s brain in 1 HOUR.
(without violating the Geneva Convention’s rules on torture)

Here’s how it works: You and I schedule a 1 hour recorded conference by phone, wherein I ask you questions that a lay person (a potential) would ask you about 1 subject area such as DUI, medical malpractice, shoplifting, etc.

I then have the call transcribed, break it up into chapters, add relevant pictures, titles, have a graphic designer create a cover, disclaimer, and a call to action to call you once they’ve read the special report.

You check it over, make a few final corrections, and my programmers place it available for free download on your website, and voila! You have a downloadable consumer-advocate style e-book for potential clients.

Success does NOT stop there, however. Next step is to print up 100 copies (at $3.50 each) and to do the following:

*Every *Single *Time a potential calls and either asks information OR also makes an appointment, you snail mail them a cover letter, sheet of testimonials, and your physical book for them to review.

Guess what this does? It elevates you tremendously in the mind of potential clients, giving you authority, credibility, and positioning that separate you from all the other attorneys in your area who are hounding this person to hire them.

This is not fantasy. This comes directly from the mouth of the Super Humans I’ve been talking to recently, such as Robert B., Dave Hiersekorn, Jeff Witten, and more.

But why should you listen to those guys? They only make 3 to 5x more than 99% of lawyers out there… What do they know?

Here’s an example of what a completed e-book and physical book combination looks like: a recent e-book I created with Shannon Wilson, a criminal defense Attorney in Oregon, Downloadable HERE.

After reading the above, if you decide you’ve had enough of appointment no-shows and taking calls but not converting as well as you Want, now’s the time to speak a book or two, or 3.
