There are different tools to know if your site has been penalized by Google or not. The first tool is “Site Command” in Google which will show you how many pages Google sees in its index, if the command returns no result that means Google can’t see your website. Another way is to Google your name, with your geographical location, your link should come up on the first page of Google search if you haven’t been penalized by Google.
Another free tool is “Magestic.com”, you type in your website URL, it will show you the trust flow score which is 0 to 100 based on how many trustworthy links your website has. If your trust flow score is low, your website is definitely not doing so well and Google might have penalized it as well.
Google analytics can also be used because it tracks every visitor that comes to your site and if you see a big drop in traffic, that’s a red flag that Google has penalized your site. Links are also sorted in terms of strength, if another law firm links to your website that is a strong link compared to a link from a flower shop which will be considered a bad link by Google and if your website has many bad links, that’s a call for trouble. So these are different tools that you can use to know if Google has penalized your website.
